• Yes – Drivers Must be 25 or Older Minimum Age for Electric Scooter Rentals.

• Minor Participants as Passengers (10 to 17 Years of Age), must have a parent or a legal guardian present and must give permission for the minor to ride by signing the, “Release, Waiver, and Liability Agreement.”
This is standard paperwork that is filled out by every one of our riders.

Minors Cannot Operate the Electric Scooter as Any Time.

• Upon arrival, all riders/participants will sign the Liability & Release Waiver Form.

• A company staff member will instruct you on Electric Scooter Rental operation and functions as well as give you tips on safe riding practices.

• Your rental time begins when you leave the shop. Return time will be set by Company Staff prior to your departure.

• You’ll Be Riding an Electric Scooter That Has a 40 Mile Range on a Full Charge, Travels Up To 20 mph and Can Accommodate One or Two Riders.

• Nope. Once you leave the office on an Electric Scooter Rental or Tour, your rental/tour period has begun and no refunds will be issued – no exceptions.

• Sorry, we do not work for free.

Electric Scooter Rental Terms

Louisiana DUI laws that apply to automobiles also apply to bicycles and electric scooters. If you are pulled over by police while riding your bike intoxicated, you will be charged with a DUI and taken to jail; this charge will also go on your driving record.

• Alcohol and Electric Scooters do not mix and is against the law. Even though this is New Orleans, you cannot ride an Electric Scooter while intoxicated. If you are taken to jail and we have to pick up the scooter – you will be charged for that service.
If the scooter is impounded, your account will be charged for the costs to get the vehicle out of impound.

• Be smart – save the drinking for another time.

• A $100 refundable deposit per scooter is required for rental. If your scooter has incurred no damages during your rental time and you have returned the scooter on time, the full $100 deposit will be refunded.

• If you are late returning the scooter or if the scooter is damaged during your rental time, late fees and/or repair costs will be deducted from your deposit. If late fees and/or damages equal more than the deposit, your credit card will be charged the difference.

• A Valid Photo ID and a Credit Card are Necessary for Your Electric Scooter Rental.

• We Do Not Take “Pre-Paid” Cards In Lieu of a Credit Card for Deposit Requirements and Will Not Rent an Electric Scooter to Anyone Without a Valid ID and Credit Card, No Exceptions.

• If an unauthorized party is found to operating or riding on the scooter, your deposit is forfeit.

• If the participant takes the scooter beyond the set boundaries, your deposit is forfeit.

• We Keep Your Credit Card Information on File Until Your Rental is Returned.

Electric Scooter Rental Terms

• Call the shop to inform a Company representative of the issue. We’ll do our best to advise you how to proceed.

It’s likely you should return the Electric Scooter to the store if you’re close.

If inventory allows, we will replace the Electric Scooter with a new one and extend your rental period for an appropriate amount of time.

If another Electric Scooter is not available for replacement, you will receive a partial refund or credit for unspent time if applicable.

• Absolutely! We Love to Hear Your Feedback About Your Experience. Reviews are the main catalyst to constantly improving our customer’s experiences with us. You can handwrite us a comment card on-site, or leave a review on the various travel sites (i.e. TripAdvisor, Google, etc.). We want to hear what you have to say!

• Though Helmets are Included With Every Electric Scooter Rental – Louisiana Does Not Mandate the Wearing of a Helmet For Electric Scooter Riders – Wearing or Not Wearing Helmet Is Up to You, Though We Do Recommend that All Participants Wear a Helmet.

• What Should I Wear?
We suggest you to wear something casual and comfortable, appropriate dress for the weather conditions is advised.

• We also recommend wearing closed toed shoes.
Sandals or flip-flops are discouraged because of the high chances of toe injuries as well as the chance that they may fall off your feet while riding creating a safety hazard.

• We Do Have City Route Maps Available that Highlight the Best Areas of the City to Ride as Well as Places to Avoid.

• Rule #1 in the New Orleans outdoor tourism industry, never listen to the weatherman! We watch the radar.

• Electric Scooter Rentals are not available during rain events.

• In the event that your Electric Scooter Rental is canceled due to bad weather (rain, thunderstorms, lightning, etc.), a Company representative will contact you (probably by text message) as early as possible to reschedule or cancel your rental.

• Electric Scooter Rental cancellations are determined by the Company without exception.

• If you are unable to reschedule in the event of inclement weather, we’ll refund your money in full.

• We understand plans change while on vacation. Should you need to cancel, we require 48 hours notice for a 50% refund.

• We are a very small business, the odds that we can sell your tickets in such a small window aren’t very good, therefore we feel that 50% is fair for having reserved and guaranteed your spot on our limited availability electric scooter rentals.

• Just want to reschedule? No problem – Give us at least 72 hours notice to ensure we can place you on a rental reservation time or tour that best suits your needs – your payment will roll into your new reservation.

• Refunds will not be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled rental departure.
Sorry, you’ll be missing a great time.

• If the participant takes the scooter beyond the set boundaries, your deposit is forfeit.

• If the rental return time is exceeded, a portion of your deposit will be used to pay for the additional time.

• If the scooter is damaged in any way, a portion of or the entire deposit will be used to pay for repair costs.

• If the scooter damage exceeds the deposit, your credit card will be charged the balance.

• A Valid ID, Credit Card, Good Attitude and a Smile.

• As in any big city, there are places that we discourage our riders from visiting, we will tell you where these places are.

• Our custom route map highlights these areas so you will know where not to go. If you follow the instructions that we give you before you depart, you should be fine.

• Common sense and good instincts should guide your way.

• All participants must stay within the geographical boundaries set forth at the time of rental.

• If you need to park your car, street parking in the French Quarter is 2 hours maximum.

• For street parking, download the app as instructed on the parking meter; once your initial 2 hours has ended, you can pay for additional time via the app.

• The best rates on parking in the French Quarter is the Basin Lot (on Basin Street). The rate ranges from $5-$10 for 10 hours when there are no special events scheduled.
