Before you decide to commit to a New Orleans Electric Scooter Rental, be sure that you are comfortable riding a bike in urban conditions.
• The Undersigned understands that the Company does not carry health, medical, liability, property, or any other insurance coverage for the Undersigned.
• The Undersigned is expected to personally cover all costs arising out of injury to any person or damage to any property, including property of the Company.
• All riders/participants agree to ride at their own risk.
• Cancellations or reschedules will be determined by the Company without exception.
• Electric Scooter Rentals cannot leave the boundaries of the French Quarter. The boundaries are Canal St., North Rampart St., Esplanade Ave. and the Mississippi River Walk.
• The Company and its employees reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.
• If you are drunk, confrontational, belligerent, uncooperative et. al., you will not be allowed to ride and a refund will not be issued.
• Prices, availability and departure/arrival times are subject to change at any time.
• Terms & Conditions Participants must read and sign the Release from Liability Agreement prior to departing on an electric scooter rental.
• We cannot allow anyone who has been drinking alcohol or is drunk to ride.
• If the staff determines you unable to safely operate your Electric Scooter, you will not be allowed to depart the shop on an Electric Scooter and a refund will not be issued.
• Your Electric Scooter and a Helmet are included with your ticket purchase.
• Helmets are Recommended for All Participants, But Not Mandatory for Adults. All Minors Must Wear a Helmet.
• Participants must be at least 10 years of age to ride as a passenger; participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Participants Younger than 25 Cannot Operate the Electric Scooter.
• Do Not use your mobile phone for calls, live video streaming, texting, et al. while in motion – it poses risk to you and others. If you must make a phone call, send a text etc. – pull over to a safe place to do so.
• Participants must be in good health, be able to operate, control and balance the equipment at the time of orientation. Please consult your physician.
• If the staff determines you unable to safely operate your scooter, you will not be allowed to ride and a refund will not be issued.
• Participants are responsible for the rental equipment from the time the equipment is rented until the time it is returned. This includes damage and/or theft of rental equipment.
• Participants Must Inform Company Staff if the Equipment is Damaged or Is Not Working Properly.
• Participants Must Comply with All Traffic Laws and Ride Responsibly.
• You’re on vacation, be cool & have a good time!
New Orleans Electric Scooter Rental Terms
• A $100 Refundable Deposit Per Scooter is Required for Rental – This Policy is Non-Negotiable.
• If your scooter has incurred no damages during your rental time, the full $100 deposit will be refunded.
• If your scooter is damaged during your rental time, repair costs will be deducted from your deposit. If damages equal more than the deposit, your credit card will be charged the difference.
• Cancellations for any reason that are not initiated by the Company are charged in full – Sorry No Exceptions.
• Your rental time starts at the time of your reservation.
Late arrivals and late departures: your rental time starts at the time of your reservation – extra time will not be added because you were late to arrive or depart.
•Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment/departure time in order to sign the waiver and receive riding instructions.
• We Accept Cash, Bitcoin, Major Crypto Currencies & All Major Credit Cards for Payment.
• Damaged & stolen equipment is subject to repair and/or replacement costs.
• In the event of rain, we will contact you One Hour before departure to re-schedule your Electric Scooter Rental time, issue a store credit, or refund.
• Electric Scooter Rentals are not available during rain events.
• Reschedules and cancellations are determined by the Company without exception.
• If the scooter(s) is stolen, your account will be charged for the replacement costs of the scooter(s).
• Replacement cost is $3000 U.S. dollars.
• If you do not want to pay for a damaged, lost, or stolen Electric Scooter listen to the directions of the Company Staff.
• Yes – Drivers Must be 25 or Older Minimum Age for Electric Scooter Rentals.
• Minor Participants as Passengers (10 to 17 Years of Age), must have a parent or a legal guardian present and must give permission for the minor to ride by signing the, “Release, Waiver, and Liability Agreement.”
This is standard paperwork that is filled out by every one of our riders.
• Minors Cannot Operate the Electric Scooter as Any Time.
• Upon arrival, all riders/participants will sign the Liability & Release Waiver Form.
• A company staff member will instruct you on Electric Scooter Rental operation and functions as well as give you tips on safe riding practices.
• Your rental time begins when you leave the shop. Return time will be set by Company Staff prior to your departure.
• You’ll Be Riding an Electric Scooter That Has a 40 Mile Range on a Full Charge, Travels Up To 20 mph and Can Accommodate One or Two Riders.

• Nope. Once you leave the office on an Electric Scooter Rental or Tour, your rental/tour period has begun and no refunds will be issued – no exceptions.

Electric Scooter Rental Terms

Louisiana DUI laws that apply to automobiles also apply to bicycles and electric scooters. If you are pulled over by police while riding your bike intoxicated, you will be charged with a DUI and taken to jail; this charge will also go on your driving record.
• Alcohol and Electric Scooters do not mix and is against the law. Even though this is New Orleans, you cannot ride an Electric Scooter while intoxicated. If you are taken to jail and we have to pick up the scooter – you will be charged for that service.
If the scooter is impounded, your account will be charged for the costs to get the vehicle out of impound.
• Be smart – save the drinking for another time.
• A $100 refundable deposit per scooter is required for rental. If your scooter has incurred no damages during your rental time and you have returned the scooter on time, the full $100 deposit will be refunded.
• If you are late returning the scooter or if the scooter is damaged during your rental time, late fees and/or repair costs will be deducted from your deposit. If late fees and/or damages equal more than the deposit, your credit card will be charged the difference.
• A Valid Photo ID and a Credit Card are Necessary for Your Electric Scooter Rental.
• We Do Not Take “Pre-Paid” Cards In Lieu of a Credit Card for Deposit Requirements and Will Not Rent an Electric Scooter to Anyone Without a Valid ID and Credit Card, No Exceptions.
• If an unauthorized party is found to operating or riding on the scooter, your deposit is forfeit.
• If the participant takes the scooter beyond the set boundaries, your deposit is forfeit.
• We Keep Your Credit Card Information on File Until Your Rental is Returned.
Electric Scooter Rental Terms
• Call the shop to inform a Company representative of the issue. We’ll do our best to advise you how to proceed.
It’s likely you should return the Electric Scooter to the store if you’re close.
If inventory allows, we will replace the Electric Scooter with a new one and extend your rental period for an appropriate amount of time.
If another Electric Scooter is not available for replacement, you will receive a partial refund or credit for unspent time if applicable.
• Absolutely! We Love to Hear Your Feedback About Your Experience. Reviews are the main catalyst to constantly improving our customer’s experiences with us. You can handwrite us a comment card on-site, or leave a review on the various travel sites (i.e. TripAdvisor, Google, etc.). We want to hear what you have to say!
• Reservations are recommended for all of Electric Scooter Rentals.
• Walk-ins are welcome. We will do our best to accommodate you, though walk-in business is subject to availability.
• We accept online reservations up to 1 hour before rental departure time. If you would like to book on even shorter notice feel free to give us a call and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate you.
• Yes! If you are not comfortable riding a bike or have never ridden a bike, an Electric Scooter Rental is probably not the best choice of activities during your vacation.
• We want you to have a great time during your New Orleans visit, but we can’t risk your safety or the safety of others if you riding skills aren’t sharp enough for city riding.
• If the Driver cannot demonstrate sufficient skill and safety of operation of the Electric Scooter, deemed by a Company representative, the scooter rental will not be allowed.
Electric Scooter Rental Terms
• Though Helmets are Included With Every Electric Scooter Rental – Louisiana Does Not Mandate the Wearing of a Helmet For Electric Scooter Riders – Wearing or Not Wearing Helmet Is Up to You, Though We Do Recommend that All Participants Wear a Helmet.
• What Should I Wear?
We suggest you to wear something casual and comfortable, appropriate dress for the weather conditions is advised.
• We also recommend wearing closed toed shoes.
Sandals or flip-flops are discouraged because of the high chances of toe injuries as well as the chance that they may fall off your feet while riding creating a safety hazard.
• The Scooter & a Helmet.
• If You Need Directions, We’ll Help You Out.
• We Do Have City Route Maps Available that Highlight the Best Areas of the City to Ride as Well as Places to Avoid.
• Rule #1 in the New Orleans outdoor tourism industry, never listen to the weatherman! We watch the radar.
• Electric Scooter Rentals are not available during rain events.
• In the event that your Electric Scooter Rental is canceled due to bad weather (rain, thunderstorms, lightning, etc.), a Company representative will contact you (probably by text message) as early as possible to reschedule or cancel your rental.
• Electric Scooter Rental cancellations are determined by the Company without exception.
• If you are unable to reschedule in the event of inclement weather, we’ll refund your money in full.
• We understand plans change while on vacation. Should you need to cancel, we require 48 hours notice for a 50% refund.
• We are a very small business, the odds that we can sell your tickets in such a small window aren’t very good, therefore we feel that 50% is fair for having reserved and guaranteed your spot on our limited availability electric scooter rentals.
• Just want to reschedule? No problem – Give us at least 72 hours notice to ensure we can place you on a rental reservation time or tour that best suits your needs – your payment will roll into your new reservation.
• Refunds will not be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled rental departure.

• If the scooter is damaged in any way, a portion of or the entire deposit will be used to pay for repair costs.
• If the scooter damage exceeds the deposit, your credit card will be charged the balance.

• As in any big city, there are places that we discourage our riders from visiting, we will tell you where these places are.
• Our custom route map highlights these areas so you will know where not to go. If you follow the instructions that we give you before you depart, you should be fine.
• Common sense and good instincts should guide your way.
• All participants must stay within the geographical boundaries set forth at the time of rental.
• If you need to park your car, street parking in the French Quarter is 2 hours maximum.
• For street parking, download the app as instructed on the parking meter; once your initial 2 hours has ended, you can pay for additional time via the app.
• The best rates on parking in the French Quarter is the Basin Lot (on Basin Street). The rate ranges from $5-$10 for 10 hours when there are no special events scheduled.
